(Cordón, 2013).
Enfatizando, las redes complejas se denen como sistemas compuestos por conjuntos de nodos
entrelazados por relaciones o enlaces, cuya estructura exhibe propiedades no triviales emergentes
de la interacción entre sus componentes. Dichos sistemas suelen exhibir rasgos distintivos, tales
como una distribución no uniforme de conexiones, la presencia de nodos altamente conectados y
la formación de patrones o agrupamientos conocidos como clusters (San Miguel et al., 2005).
Las redes complejas contribuyen a comprender la estructura y dinámica de diversos sistemas
como las interacciones sociales, las redes biológicas y las relacionadas con la infraestructura
tecnológica (Mulet, 2006)especialmente sus diferencias con las redes aleatorias. Discutimos
algunos de los problemas físicos más estudiados en relación a las redes complejas en especial
algu-nos vinculados a las Ciencias de la Computación y presenta-mos algunas preguntas aún
abiertas en el tema. Finalmente, proponemos algunas perspectivas de investigación futura en
este tema Abstract. In this work we make a short introduction to the subject of Complex Networks.
We describe its most important characteristics, mainly their differences with random networks. We
also discuss some of the most studied physical problems related with these networks, especially
those related with the Computer Sciences and we present some open questions. Finally we

diversidad y dinámica de las interconexiones entre los procesos de la universidad y los elementos
fundamentales del modelo de acreditación, pudiendo simular el comportamiento colectivo de la
organización; es decir, modela las interacciones sociales y académicas que tienen lugar dentro del
ecosistema universitario (Moscoso Bernal et al., 2024).
La comprensión y análisis de estas redes mediante enfoques de teoría de redes permiten
identicar patrones, detectar comunidades y optimizar la difusión de información, lo que resulta
fundamental para el desarrollo estratégico de las instituciones de educación superior en un mundo
cada vez más interconectado (Aldecoa, 2012). El estudio de estas, permite visualizar y comprender
la estructura y dinámica de los procesos y evidencias, lo que facilita la toma de decisiones
informadas y la optimización de los procedimientos (Moscoso Bernal, et al., 2023).
Las redes complejas se componen de nodos y enlaces, donde los nodos representan elementos
del sistema y los enlaces indican las relaciones entre ellos. Al respecto, Molina y Rivero, (2012)
indicaron que el análisis de redes complejas se basa en medidas como la centralidad, modularidad
y densidad de la red, que proporcionan información valiosa sobre la importancia de los nodos, la
agrupación de elementos anes y la conectividad general del sistema.
Uno de los benecios clave del análisis de redes complejas es la capacidad para identicar
procesos críticos, es decir, aquellos que desempeñan un papel central en la estructura global de
la red. Estos procesos críticos son esenciales para el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad y,
