Conflict of interest policy

The authors of a manuscript, the editors of the receiving journal and its reviewers must declare any conflict of interest that may influence the manuscript or its review and approval. In the event that authors declare a conflict of interest, this must be reported to the journal editor. In turn, those invited to review a manuscript should excuse themselves from doing so if they have a conflict of interest with the authors or the topic. The Journal guarantees that the most appropriate reviewers will be selected also in terms of thematic and academic compatibility.

In case of controversy, the UISRAEL Scientific Journal is committed to resolve these cases and the most appropriate measures will be taken to identify and prevent the publication of articles in which cases of research misconduct have occurred. In no case will the UISRAEL Scientific Journal encourage such misconduct, nor will it knowingly allow such misconduct to occur.

Should the editor(s) of the journal become aware of any allegations of research misconduct, the editor will address the allegations, retracting or correcting articles when necessary. To publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies, if necessary.
To resolve disputes, the UISRAEL Scientific Journal adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
