Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze risk management in educational software projects. This research has been based on authors such as Fajardo (2014), Sánchez (2013), Zulueta et al. (2009), among others; and it fits into the qualitative paradigm, with a post-positivist approach, this study being documentary, analytical. Likewise, it has been carried out through the technique of direct observation on the collected reference literature, and using content analysis for the interpretation of the concep-tual referents developed. From this concrete documentary review, flaws in the design of educational software projects were evident, since the sense of risk, uncertainty and insecurity in its creation, its architecture, technical procedures, external factors that impede its functionality are not addressed; therefore, it is recommended to produce an awareness of its preparation, design and operation.
